Piccadilly Theatre, London

MADD were lead design consultants on three phases of work to upgrade the Piccadilly Theatre’s building services and facilities. This involved extensive replacement of the roof top plant rooms, new dressing room facilities, auditorium restoration, addition of platform lift to provide wheelchair access to stalls level, new accessible WC facilities, re-raking of the Grand Circle and re-seating of the auditorium, show specific structural alterations to the auditorium and technical access bridges to the ceiling dome and fly gallery. Externally, the project included facade renovation with new zinc clad mansard roof/acoustic screen, new facade lighting and external signage. The final phase of work was completed in November 2021.
