Lyric Theare, Shaftsbury Avenue is a Grade II building dating from 1888 designed by prolific theatre architect C.J.Phipps.

MADD were appointed by Nimax Theatres to increase and refurbish the dressing room facilities over the three storey back stage accommodation. The auditorium was also re-seated to increase the stalls seat count along with means of escape strategy review to facilitate the reconfiguration of the backstage circulation and increased audience numbers.
